The Armstrong 5” 60 lb Gun, made at the Elswick Ordnance Company site at Barrow In Furness, later to become part of the Armstrong Whitworth Group (which later became Vickers and finally BA Systems) this gun was built in 1917 and designed to be pulled by a tractor unit.
